Games you can't stand

Whether it's a board game or a video game, you can talk about it here.

Games you can't stand

Post by Juneberry »

Considering there's a thread to talk about the games we love, I thought it'd be fun to talk about the games we loathe- or, y'know, just don't really like much.

I'm personally not a fan at all of 'bullet hells'. I own one, try it every so often, but I never can manage to beat the first level! I don't know why, but bullet hells are super complicated and annoying to me. ><

Puzzle games. I'm not really into them unless it has a pretty darn good story or twists. The only puzzle game I could stand was Virtue's Last Reward. It's a visual novel game with puzzles.

I don't like "cookie cutter" games, or games that exploit current trends purely for profit. Examples include Call of Duty and Fortnite. I like games that are one of a kind or at least have features that make them unique.

I'm not particularly a fan of sports games; they get released on a yearly basis, their trade value drops dramatically in a short space of time, and improvements appear to be few and far between.

Anything that gives you a choice of: grind for hours, or pay money to skip the grinding. I don't have any time for that these days >_< ...
