a very long time ago, I think I was 8?
I've often wished that there was a way that I could exist long enough to see the merging of the andromeda, milkway, and triangulum galaxies into the new super galaxy... so about 15 Billion years.
of course early on I realized that given the limitations of the human body I could never achieve that but then I started reading cyberpunk novels and the idea of uploading came up so I began giving it real thought.
I've come to accept that it's probably the only way I could be around long enough without some weird preservation technology or being stuck in time, to see that.
plus I've often felt that there's just not enough time to do what I really want to do given the resources at hand.
I guess you could say I've been a bit fluid with the concept of what is me as well, my handles and online personalities are an extension of myself, as is technology when I use it. that's just how I like to think of things, so remote piloting a body, or giving up my own to become information isn't completely out of the question, but I'm nervous about it as well.
too many unknowns, like would I be creating a clone?, would it be me or wouldn't it?
would I even know the difference, or just cease to exist with my copy taking over?
that is my biggest concern which is why for me the idea of a slow integration would probably be better, with it happening slowly over time until I no longer need my body anymore.

Purple, followed by turquoise because it combines my two previous favourite colors green and blue.

a kind of off brown color.
I don't mind tan, yellow, sandy colors, those remind me of 1970's winnebagos.
but that kind of sickly off brown color... I wouldn't want anything in that color, it's just awful.
note: this is different than brown leather because that's also a different color, and texture.

Velvet, it's soft, and has an oddly nice feel to it.
visually I like smoother textures, especially polished metal.

sharp and rough surfaces definitely.
then again, with wood that's easily fixed... and the smell is nice when sanding.
with metal... running a grinder/buffer fixes that lol
mostly though I like smooth surfaces and one's that are soft but have intricate patterns like velvet, silk, etc.
something uneven but not sharp and angled.
