What made you smile today?

Post by Juneberry »

Even on a bad day, it's important to look to the little things- whether it's getting something you love, seeing an old friend, or just a bad joke at work that made you chuckle. The power of positive thinking can be amazing, so I vote we all work together to smile more.

What's something that made you happy today?

I saw my boyfriend when I woke up and got online, and I saw lots of posts here as soon as I got on the computer. Seeing the people I adore first thing means I should have good luck, no?

I was happy to be helpful to my boyfriend by teaching him *not* to ice a stiff neck.
I also learned something interesting from him after that...
I don't like that a stiff neck made me feel these happy things, but sometimes joy comes from weird places.

I played some pinball and freecell on the new firestick dad got. :) It was hard, but it was fun!

A friend shared that they rely on me, and told me many ways I had not thought I was capable of doing. It made me pretty happy knowing I'm needed.

My daughter being such a cutie in the morning always makes me smile. She's almost 16 months, and is amazing at sleeping through the night (she always has been good). She wakes up all refreshed, happily natters to herself in the cot for a good 30 minutes or so, and gives us a big cuddle and a smile when we go in to pick her up.

She melts my heart.. :)
