You'd think they'd let me get a blood test to know my blood type considering how important it is, but for some reason, at least in my area, it costs way too much to do and doctors won't write scripts for it. ><

How did your karaoke night go? And did it actually snow?

I got a lot of art programs and brushes today because there's a big bundle on humble bundle for corel painter, paint shop pro and a wide variety add ons and stuff for it. Dad said when he gets paid in a couple weeks I can get the RPGmaker one he noticed and had me look at too. :3

my karaoke night went great, I sang some steely dan, hung out with my friends there, and enjoyed a couple hours de-stressing after work.

Humble Bundle is definitely awesome. Dad was in awe when I got him to look at the site today. :3

yeah, it's definitely a lot of fun getting up on stage, hearing the cheers of the crowd, getting into the act and making air guitar gestures.

I've never been to a karaoke bar or anywhere with karaoke that sounds quite that exciting. We had karaoke in a partial care program I was in though~ and my cousins owned a karaoke machine when I was a kid.

maybe it's the environment here then...

it's hosted at a local dive bar 3 times a week, and it draws in the crowds, but in the nearest 3 cities I've counted over 10 places that host karaoke, usually after 9, on fridays and saturdays.

everyone is chill, and people work hard to keep it that way preventing arguments and stuff and keeping it fun.

Dive bar... hmm, it's like a blue collar bar or a kind of bar that's supposed to look grungy/poor.

a lot of college bars try to look like dive bars, it's quite popular.

maybe I'll take pictures next time I'm there.
