in what sense?
Do I believe in life on other planets?
there's too much evidence that it exists for me not to.
heck there's unexplained chemical processes happening on saturn's moon titan that could be explained quite easily with an unknown form of life.
logically i'd be a fool to say that earth is the only place with life on it.
if you mean intelligent life, that remains to be seen, however given the number of rocky planets we've found in the habitable zones of stars, combined with how many stars are in our galaxy alone that we've yet to search but would be ideal for such places and likely have them?
well it's currently estimated that there are 1 BILLION earth like planets in the milky way alone, if the number is even one tenth that then the odds are there's somebody out there.
that being said, there simply isn't enough corroborating evidence for type 1 or greater civilizations making their way here and visiting this world.
you'd have to be at least a type 1 civilization to traverse the void like that.
If they do exist they'd have to exist more than 50 to 70 LY away or else be extremely difficult to detect.
the best candidate I'd say is Zeta Reticuli.
it's a binary system with a gas giant, a large region of debris, and the star's seem anomalously stable for their age.
Plus at least one of them is severely depleted of the resource Beryllium, which is an element that's ideal for space based construction due to it's properties.
if there is something there though, our telescopes are not nearly powerful enough to detect anything, we only recently were able to scan the atmospheres of planets smaller than neptune.
outside of that though, it's anybody's guess, but they clearly are not using radio frequencies for communications, or at least aren't powerful enough to be detected at range.
if we do turn out to be alone in the universe... well that would kinda suck, but that just makes us the precursors to create intelligence elsewhere.
that's my thoughts anyway.

Both, I do a lot of retro gaming, both on PC and consoles, and I've dedicated hardware for both. I even stream stuff sometimes.

Ecco the dolphin, easily.
it's got incredible music given the hardware it was designed on (FM SYNTHESIS!!!!), complex puzzle mazes, and a great plot.
It was also one of the first video games I ever played.

it was later ported to Sega CD, and windows 95.
at least the one I played was, more people know of the reboot produced for the dreamcast.
the original even had a sequel called, ecco the dolphin, the tides of time.
which had even better music than the original, better level design, and even 3 dimensional levels, which was a huge accomplishment on the old 16bit genesis.
