Freecell and his group come in during the second season. His cohorts are all named after stuff too, like Doubt and Melancholy, which I never knew was a game until I was reading up on the names xD
Also I've always known Freecell as Freecell. I didn't know for a long time it was related to solitaire though.

It's a first person shooter. It's $59.99 for the base game, $79.99 for the "Operator edition" which just comes with extra DLC and $99 for the ultimate edition which is basically everything the operator edition has plus 3,000 cod points (about $30 in cod points)Juneberry wrote: Wed Sep 11, 2019 3:09 pm @Smokey What genre is Modern Warfare anyway? And will it be free when it's not in beta? *curious*
That's certainly one way to return and enjoy a game series in a different way, @Megan![]()

I don't think the first was in the US other than arcades. I forget. The second was for Dreamcast (my reason for getting one XD), and there was the third on Xbox. There was some other one that had a couple of em on there. I think it was on Wii? Might of been on others too.Juneberry wrote: Sun Sep 29, 2019 6:15 pm I've never heard of those, Megan. What are they on? I have a friend who might like them.

@ juneberry, dreamcasts are awesome, in fact there's a disc drive replacement now that let's you use SD cards instead of discs (not condoning piracy, in fact I'm pro backups but always buy the games, but many disc drives are wearing out after 20 years and in the interest in keeping stuff going a solid state upgrade was an inevitability.)
of note here is that there was an interesting variant of house of the dead called typing of the dead.
you see, the dreamcast was one of the first consoles with a built in online capability, it had a dial up modem, and later offered a broadband ethernet adapter.
among other things there was a special web browser software for it which came with a special keyboard and mouse, the genesis had a mouse but no keyboard and as far as I know the dreamcast was one of the first consoles with one.
it also supported the old style VGA cables for display output with a special adapter.
the PS2 would later copy this idea and expand upon it with a full Operating system disc and internal hard drive support.
it also had a karaoke machine functionality that wasn't really used here in the states.
anyway, typing of the dead was house of the dead, except instead of using a controller you shot zombies by typing quickly and accurately.
among other things the dreamcast was known for, a big one was phantasy star online, an early console based 3D MMORPG, with a futuristic science fantasy setting.
these days though to do anything other than play games on one you either need a broadband adapter (rare), or a bit of technical wizardry with custom null modem cables and the like.
finally, the dreamcast is still seeing games released to it, even this year I think 2 or 3 were released on it by 3rd parties, it was unique because it was easy to program for and so a lot of indie and third party developers continue to develop games for it, many of which are actually quite fun.
this makes the dreamcast kinda stand out in that it's not actually dead despite having been discontinued nearly twenty years ago.
