Lol, yeah, I'm lucky i have friends who are like that irl too. Though most are amazing and smart in their own right.
One is even the lead artist over at sparkfun.

But thanks for reminding me that not everybody sees me as the wrench lol.

Oh it's a really cool place. Basically they make chips and components for diy, tinkering, and open source technology like the raspberry pi, maker board, Arduino etc.

Things like thermal sensors, robot control interfaces, Bluetooth modules etc.

Juneberry Well I learned about it online because they're actually quite big in the maker community, but when I started doing karaoke I met this group of awesome people who are like a geek clique, and made friends with the lot of them. It was nice to fit in and hangout with a group of people that weren't muscle brains in a city obsessed with nature and fitness.

Apropos

as a preposition it can mean that something is concerning or with reference to something.

as adjective it can mean something is appropriate to a situation.

it's a word that's also fun to say and isn't used much in modern language.

ironically it's best use today is in reference to how quickly people change topics.

one could say a lot of people are apropos of nothing during conversations these days given how often they seem to switch topics randomly to avoid stuff.

it's similar to the term "with regard to"

honestly there's lots of words I find interesting that aren't in common use anymore, or how words have changed.

my most favorite word is groovy and I use it a lot when agreeing to stuff :P

Juneberry Honestly? No I haven't, but that's because I try to avoid jumping to conclusions and research everything in detail.

If anything the truth is often scarier than initial conclusions would indicate.
