I run a custom variant of linux ^_^
it's a bit retro but also a bit futuristic, and I love the flexibility of using python to program the UI.

I use Windows 10 unfortunately. I just have too many apps and games that are hopelessly incompatible with Linux, even under WINE.

@ MeowsePad, that's unfortunate :( I wish more stuff was natively compatible with linux, for gaming that's being fixed in a big way but for everything else...

I'm just lucky that OBS studio, blender, gimp, and inkscape are natively compatible, it's no adobe suite but it works lol.

I just recently got my new laptop and it runs Windows 10. So now I have both for the moment.

Windows 10 for me..

I've often contemplated having a play with a Linux environment, but have never taken the leap. I've grown up with Windows, and certain cross-compatibility (MS Office) is never 100% and always puts me off.

@ Nerdface: you ever mess with open office/Libra Office?
it's a fairly decent cross platform alternative to MS office with MS office support.

I used to thrive on LibreOffice, but then there was an update that kept eating my words when I'd save and reopen my files. It sucked because it was during NaNoWriMo and I had to find a new alternative. But, I've been debating on trying to use it again, as it was good software before that incident. My only complaint was there was no similar program in it as OneNote.
