Weird Research Topics

When you're writing a story, a lot of times you end up researching things to make the world feel more realistic even if it's fantasy. Some of those things can feel weird to research, and maybe even make you worry about your search history being seen! But, let's share it anyway. What's something weird you researched for a story recently?

I've spent a couple days researching curses. Not words, like...voodoo stuff. Curses are a major part of one of my WIPs, and I can only make up so many!

At one point I was gonna do a story with clones so was researching cloning.

I have some scifi stuff I should probably research too, mostly when I get back to my maiiiin WIP. My current WIP is mostly fantasy.
Also I need to research some mental health stuff for at least two characters.

I don't really bother with research anymore. Though I also haven't really written for a long time too.

Basically anything I write about is weird since I write niche subjects. I kinda miss my old Meowsepad thread for that.
